Strategic HR Partner Role (Winnipeg)

Transform HR practices as a Strategic HR Partner at Smurfit Westrock with a focus on sustainable solutions. Influence employee relations and align HR strategies with business goals. This position will have you lead the integration of innovative HR programs that enhance the employee experience at Smurfit Westrock. You’ll leverage your industry knowledge to provide valuable guidance on employee advantages, compensation packages, and adherence to labor laws. Establishing strong relationships with management will be crucial to fostering integrity and accountability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement HR policies and procedures effectively
- Advise senior management on various HR-related matters
- Develop discipline and performance frameworks for employees
- Enhance workplace diversity and talent strategy initiatives
- Conduct feedback surveys for continual policy improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a relevant area
- 3-5 years of HR experience
- CHRL designation is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
- Excellent communication and analytical capabilities
