Contractor Manager, Operations

We are seeking two analytical and driven Operations Officers III to join our Segregation, Trade Input, and Settlements team. These roles are critical to ensuring compliance with audit requirements and CIRO regulations within our Wealth Operations division. You will work within a supportive, positive team environment that offers endless learning opportunities and a path for long-term career growth.
This is a 6-month contract with a strong possibility for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
As an Operations Officer III, you will support the end-to-end lifecycle of trade inputs, settlements, and share movements. Bookkeeping & Data Input: Focusing on receiving requests, ensuring they match internal bookkeeping, and inputting data into the official book of records.
Focusing on trade settlements, share movements, creating technical reports, and managing depository requirements.
Regardless of the specific path, you will act as a key liaison between brokers and traders, ensuring trades are executed and settled within strict regulatory timeframes.
Schedule: Monday to Friday. Candidates must be flexible to work either an 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM shift.
Start Date: ASAP.
Successful contractors are frequently positioned for long-term opportunities and permanent roles within the bank.
Comprehensive Training: Receive at least 2 weeks of dedicated process training to ensure you are comfortable before taking ownership of your tasks.
Bookkeeping: Maintain internal books of records, ensuring all entries align with transaction requests and financial data.
Regulatory Adherence: Issue Resolution: Investigate discrepancies in share movements or settlement delays, escalating high-risk items to management as necessary.
Experience: Proven administrative experience within a professional office or financial environment.
Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (specifically comfortable with VLOOKUPs and data manipulation).
Trade Lifecycle: 2–5 years of experience within the trade lifecycle (Trade Input, Settlements, or Corporate Actions).
