Director of Operations - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Officer to join our high-performing team in the heart of Toronto. This role is a "Back-Office Only" position, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a focused, administrative environment where accuracy and efficiency are the top priorities.

This is more than just a contract; With a 2-week structured training period and a supportive team culture of 12 professionals, you will be empowered to master complex trade processing and operational support.

As an Operations Officer, you will provide essential support within our Operations & Technology functional area. You will handle specialized transactions, manage electronic filings, and ensure that our internal service level goals are met with 100% accuracy. You will spend your day-to-day ensuring the "gears" of the financial engine are turning smoothly through meticulous data management and client communication.

On-site (Downtown Hub)

Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Permanent Conversion)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Prime Location: Work in a beautiful corporate office at 77 Bloor Street West, easily accessible by transit.

Impact: Gain hands-on experience with high-level customer data and complex financial instruments.

Create and draft professional correspondence/letters to be sent to clients, ensuring a deep understanding of the underlying financial context.

Data Integrity: Execute high-volume data entry and management using MS Excel with a focus on precision and error-free deliverables.

Document Management: Manage incoming mail, including scanning, digital filing, and organizing electronic records for the department.

Comply with established bank codes of conduct and audit guidelines to identify and escalate risks as necessary.

Team Collaboration: Participate in daily huddles to align on work distribution and contribute to a positive, flexible team culture.

College certification required, ideally with a focus on Finance, Trade Processing, or Business Administration.

Experience: 3–5 years of overall professional experience, preferably within a trade processing or back-office operational role.

Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must).
