Buildings and Infrastructure Superintendent

Drive construction excellence as a Superintendent with Sigfusson Northern overseeing projects in Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario. You'll manage operations, schedule tasks, and ensure safety and budget compliance.

In this senior role reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead field coordinators, foremen, and staff while coordinating with various stakeholders. Your expertise in managing labor hiring, conducting inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety policies will be crucial for success. This position demands strong leadership skills and the capacity to adapt to changing environments.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and evaluate field coordinators, foremen, and staff • Coordinate with subcontractors and community stakeholders • Manage labor hiring, onboarding, and cost control • Oversee safety compliance and quality management systems • Represent the company during inspections and warranty checks

Requirements: • 5+ years as a superintendent in general contracting • Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6 • Experience in healthcare facilities or wastewater treatment projects • Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass security clearance
