Role Summary

CHARM Fertility is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to build their accounting career in a fast-paced, patient-centred healthcare environment. Working closely with the Controller, the Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, assist with payroll processing, and maintain accurate financial records across multiple clinics.

Role Overview

• Assist with daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, OHIP billing, and bank reconciliations


• Prepare and process journal entries, expense reports, and payment runs


• Support monthly and year-end closing activities


• Maintain accurate and organized financial records


• Assist with payroll processing and reporting through ADP Workforce Now


• Record transactions and maintain ledgers in QuickBooks


• Help ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies


• Provide financial data and support for audits and management reviews


• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies


• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes

Ideal Candidate

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or professional services environment


• Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and ADP Workforce Now; strong Excel skills


• Soft Skills:
  ➔ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities
  ➔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  ➔ Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  ➔ A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
