Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and providing sound financial advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare Compilation Engagement financial statements

· Conduct or support audits and review engagements

· Prepare corporate, charity, estate and personal tax returns

· Build and maintain relationships with clients and their staff

· Stay current on industry standards and regulatory changes

· Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service and continuous improvement within the team.

· Some travel to client facilities, within the GTA, is required therefore access to reliable transportation is needed

Qualifications:

· Completion of CPA designation (completion of the Common Final Examination and working towards relevant practical experience requirements will also be considered)

· One + years experience in public accounting

· Thorough understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)

· Good understanding of and experience with Canadian income taxation

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

· Strong communication and client service skills

· Experience working with accounting software (eg. Caseware, Taxcyle or other comparable tax software)
