A Day in the Life

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of regional accounts and prospects of varying sizes and complexities. This role involves developing and executing strategic account plans, achieving sales and margin targets, identifying opportunities to maintain and grow business, and building strong customer relationships aligned with Bunge's mission, vision, and values.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across commercial teams and support functions to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive business growth throughout the region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Achieve annual business plan targets, including sales, margin, and growth objectives.
• Develop and execute account strategies aligned with regional business priorities.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the assigned EMEA region.
• Partner closely with the Technical Service team to support product approvals, customer R&D projects, and application development initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with commercial functions and key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and business success.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence through customer engagement, market mapping, competitive analysis, and sharing relevant insights.
• Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, and customer needs within the food industry.
• Represent Bunge at trade shows, industry events, exhibitions, and customer-facing activities.
• Deliver commercial performance objectives through effective budget management and opportunity pipeline development, including new and closed-won business.
• Drive operational excellence through accurate forecasting, contract management, order execution, and opportunity management.
• Demonstrate strong customer centricity through account planning, customer visits, roadshows, exhibitions, and relationship management.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, strategic projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Foster strong teamwork and collaboration across the regional team, commercial organization, business units, and value chain partners.

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, with 3-5+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or a related commercial role.
• Strong proficiency in English; additional language skills are considered an asset depending on the assigned country or region.
• Commercial experience within Oils & Fats, with knowledge of product solutions and customer applications across segments such as confectionery, bakery, biscuits, dairy, ice cream, and related food categories.
• Strong business development, commercial acumen, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong decision-making, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach and a strong "can-do" attitude.
• Demonstrated project execution, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

The compensation range for this position is $81,080 to $114,030 CAD annually . In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
