Shape the future of cancer care as the Ottawa Cancer Foundation's Vice President of Philanthropy. Focus on expanding philanthropic investment and deepening donor confidence across the region. As VP of Philanthropy, you will lead all aspects of fundraising and donor engagement for the Foundation. This includes developing major gift strategies, enhancing corporate partnerships, and effectively managing community relations. Your role will be crucial in fostering relationships with donors, guiding the philanthropy team, and ensuring alignment with the Foundation’s vision during this growth phase.
Key Responsibilities Create impactful fundraising strategies and campaigns
Strengthen relationships with donors and stakeholders
Represent the Foundation at community events
Guide the philanthropy team in daily operations
Build strategic partnerships to expand organizational reach
Requirements Proven track record in fundraising leadership
Skills in managing donor relationships and engagement
Public speaking and presentation experience required
Familiarity with healthcare or charitable environments beneficial
Bilingual communication skills considered an asset
Lead with purpose and strategic insight to enhance support for those affected by cancer at the Ottawa Cancer Foundation.
