Deployment Reconditioning Specialist Role

Experience the ultimate adventure as a Deployment Reconditioning Specialist providing crucial fitness services to military personnel in Latvia. Support the Canadian Armed Forces by enhancing physical health and wellness for a dynamic troop environment. In this six-month contract role, you will lead innovative reconditioning programs designed for service members with medical conditions. Your expertise in exercise prescription and rehabilitation will be essential for improving their functional performance, while working collaboratively with a dedicated team. Engage in wellness initiatives that promote injury prevention and healthy practices, making a significant difference in the lives of service personnel. Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and manage specialized reconditioning programs
- Lead physical fitness evaluations and testing
- Create and conduct fitness education workshops
- Offer individualized counseling for members with injuries
- Coordinate with external services for better fitness outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or similar
- Certification as a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP)
- First Aid and CPR certifications required
- Demonstrated experience in health and fitness programming
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
