Hands-On Credit & Collections Supervisor

AFD is seeking a proactive Credit & Collections Supervisor to lead complex recovery efforts. This hands-on position requires collaborative management of delinquent accounts and third-party collection agencies. As a working supervisor, you will oversee accounts receivable operations, manage relationships with external partners, and guide an on-site team. Your responsibilities include credit risk assessments, approval of credit limits, and resolving discrepancies in accounts. This role is essential for driving effective collection strategies. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise day-to-day accounts receivable management
• Develop and enforce collection policies and procedures
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness for approvals
• Manage weekend trip release coverage effectively
• Prepare reports on AR performance and metrics Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years in accounts receivable/collections
• 2+ years of supervisory experience required
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Excel
• Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Lead the charge in managing collections and credit risk at AFD.
