Director, Advocacy And Policy Strategy Montreal

Strategically influence federal policy as the Director for Universities Canada. Lead impactful advocacy initiatives to enhance higher education through informed government relations. Reporting to the Vice‑President of Public Affairs, you will translate strategic priorities into evidence‑based policy positions, ensuring rigorous accountability and execution across advocacy initiatives. Your expertise in navigating legislative processes will be vital for successful organizational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive advocacy through federal policy development
- Lead effective execution of government relations strategies
- Shape policies in alignment with key governmental cycles
- Produce and present high‑quality policy documentation
- Ensure compliance with government opacity and ethics
Requirements
- Degree in public policy or similar field
- 8+ years in governmental or political roles
- Experience managing multi‑faceted policy areas
- Proven ability to analyze complex policy issues
- Bilingualism is preferable
