Principal Director of Business Insurance Montreal

Lead your career forward in the role of Principal Director of Business Insurance at a historic Quebec brokerage. Focus on business development and team leadership while enjoying a hybrid work model with two remote days. This role in Montreal centers on strong leadership and strategic vision within the insurance sector. You will oversee a team of 30 to 40 people, including Commercial Insurance Account Directors and two direct managers. Expertise in both technical insurance and coaching is vital for fostering success in mid-market and large accounts while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies
- Enhance market positioning through current insurance program strategies
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies
- Train and coach teams for mid-market and large accounts
- Inspire and lead a high-performing insurance team
- Expertise in technical insurance strategies
- Proven experience in leadership and team management
- Strong communication and coaching skills
