Onboarding Trainer in Nuclear Safety

Become an Onboarding Trainer with Aecon's Shoreline Power Group focusing on Environmental Health and Safety in the nuclear industry. In this position at Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station, you will train personnel in essential EHS programs like Work at Heights and First Aid. You will provide management feedback on employee competency and actively participate in related training projects. Your role promotes nuclear safety culture while being a key resource for health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Train employees on EHS programs and safety standards
• Document training and track employee progress accurately
• Provide feedback on staff competency to management
• Participate in training team meetings and initiatives
• Support and advocate for Human Performance activities Requirements:
• Relevant education or equivalent experience
• Five years in Health and Safety training
• Knowledge of OHS legislation in construction
• Proficiency in MS Office for training management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills Influence safety best practices and employee training at Aecon's Shoreline Power Group.
