Role Overview Safety Associate – Vancouver, BC
What You'll Be Doing Support the execution and continuous improvement of workplace health and safety initiatives.
Assist with employee training, onboarding, and safety awareness programs.
Participate in workplace inspections and help identify opportunities to reduce risk.
Support incident reporting, documentation, and follow‑up activities.
Help maintain safety records, certifications, and compliance‑related documentation.
Collaborate with leaders and employees to encourage protected work practices and proactive hazard identification.
Assist with policy reviews, program updates, and safety communications.
Monitor safety metrics and contribute to reporting and trend analysis.
Provide administrative and operational support to the health and safety function as required.
Promote a culture where safety is integrated into everyday decision‑making.
What We're Looking For Post‑secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
Previous experience supporting health and safety programs in an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, construction, or operational workplace is considered an asset.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and digital record‑keeping systems.
Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and a genuine passion for workplace safety.
