Job Responsibility:

The Bilingual Translator ensures the quality of translated material by verifying spelling, punctuation, formatting, use of language and grammar are correct and consistent. In addition, ensures materials adhere to applicable compliance and regulatory guidelines.
What We are Looking For
- 3+ years of proofreading/translation experience
- University degree in French studies, translation, journalism, publishing or a related field or equivalent experience
- Bilingual in French and English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to accurately review complex materials with exceptional attention to details
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office applications and in AP and/or Chicago Manual of Style and standard proofreading marks
- Strong project management skills and process driven
- Strong time management skills
- Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines
- Excellent eye for design consistency
Job Type: Fixed term contractContract length: 4 months
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
