Application Production Support Analyst – Fund Accounting

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Production Support Analyst to join a production support team responsible for critical fund accounting and investment management applications. The successful candidate will provide functional and production support, analyze accounting-related issues, support business users, and ensure the stability, availability, and efficiency of fund accounting platforms.

This role requires strong expertise in Fund Accounting, Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, investment products, and production support within a banking or financial services environment. The candidate will serve as a key point of contact for production incidents, user support, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support day‑to‑day production activities for business‑critical applications.
• Provide functional and operational support for fund accounting applications.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve accounting, data, and application‑related production issues.
• Manage incidents from identification through resolution while meeting established service levels.
• Coordinate with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve production issues.
• Support accounting migrations and corporate actions, including mergers, share class changes, and currency conversions.
• Ensure timely completion of NAV calculations and adherence to operational deadlines.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of new functionality, enhancements, and production releases.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Prepare support metrics, dashboards, and management reports.
• Escalate critical issues appropriately and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production stability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Fund Accounting, Investment Accounting, Asset Management, or financial services applications.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Fund Accounting
  • Net Asset Value (NAV) Calculations
  • Investment Fund Administration
  • Financial Instruments and Derivatives
  • Corporate Actions Processing
• Experience supporting production applications within a banking, asset management, or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Experience analyzing production incidents, support tickets, and service metrics.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to document operational procedures and support processes effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Multifonds FA/WEM (Temenos) or similar fund accounting platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles, incident management, and production support best practices.
• Experience supporting fund migrations and accounting‑related events.
• Prior Business Analysis experience within an application support environment.
• French language skills are considered an asset.
