Application Support Specialist at Bevertec

Support mission-critical applications at Bevertec as an Application Support Specialist. This role involves technical support for Credits, Working Capital, and Asset Finance applications in a 24x7 environment. As an Application Support Specialist, you will provide L1/L2 support and manage incidents for crucial business applications. You will apply your scripting skills in Shell, Perl, Batch, or Python, and contribute to change management and application deployments. Your experience with Java J2EE, Unix/Linux/Windows, and SQL/PL SQL will be essential in ensuring smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application support for Credits and Working Capital
- Manage incidents and support change management processes
- Develop scripts in Shell, Perl, Batch, or Python
- Assist with application architecture and disaster recovery
- Support data flows between key financial applications
- Experience in application support and incident management
- Knowledge of Java J2EE applications
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows servers
- Understanding of SQL/PL SQL
- ITIL foundation knowledge is a plus
