Diabetes Sales Specialist - Kitchener/Waterloo - Abbott Diabetes Care

Abbott seeks a Diabetes Sales Specialist for field-based sales in the Kitchener/Waterloo region. The role involves managing a territory, building relationships with healthcare providers and pharmacies, and driving sales of diabetes care products including meters and test strips.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned territory as a business to maximize sales and meet short and long-term goals
- Contact and call on high-prescribing doctors, educators, and pharmacies at regular intervals
- Grow sales through educating healthcare providers and placing Abbott meters with insulin-using patients
- Execute patient start programs and clinic events to accelerate adoption
- Collaborate with Abbott representatives and marketing to grow market share
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Superior selling and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to develop and present innovative solutions
- Strong business acumen
Compensation: $68,250-$101,100 CAD base
