Director of Sales for CPG Firm

Lead revenue generation as the Director of Sales at a thriving CPG company. This senior leadership role focuses on strategic client development, account management, and sales excellence. As the Director of Sales, you will report directly to the President & CEO and oversee all aspects of sales planning and team development. Your role will involve transitioning to a scalable sales function while maintaining the company’s entrepreneurial spirit. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration are needed to drive sustained commercial success. Key Responsibilities:
- Own all commercial aspects of existing client relationships
- Develop tailored strategies for topline growth and margin improvement
- Hire and mentor high-performing account managers
- Lead client service functions for timely program delivery
- Oversee merchandising and ensure in-store excellence
- Proven experience in sales forecasting and reporting
- Strong skills in hiring and developing sales teams
- Excellent negotiation and pricing analysis abilities
- Broad understanding of operations, finance, and product interdependencies
- Experience within major retail channels and packaged goods industry
