Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, trend-aware, and results-driven Viral Social Media Manager to grow brand awareness, engagement, and audience reach across social media platforms. This role is responsible for developing high-performing content strategies, producing viral-ready short-form content, monitoring trends, and driving audience growth through innovative storytelling and platform-native content.

The ideal candidate understands internet culture, social media algorithms, short-form video strategy, and audience psychology, and can quickly create engaging content that drives shares, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Creation

• Develop and execute viral social media strategies across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
• Create engaging short-form content optimized for reach, retention, and shareability.
• Write compelling hooks, captions, and calls-to-action.
• Repurpose content across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align content with brand goals.

Trend & Audience Monitoring

• Monitor emerging trends, memes, sounds, and platform updates.
• Identify opportunities to capitalize on viral moments.
• Research audience behavior and competitor content.
• Adapt content style based on analytics and performance.

Performance & Analytics

• Track KPIs including engagement, reach, watch time, shares, and follower growth.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations.
• Conduct A/B testing on hooks, captions, thumbnails, and formats.
• Generate regular social media performance reports.

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments and audience interactions.
• Help grow online communities and increase brand loyalty.
• Encourage conversations and audience participation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media accounts with demonstrated audience growth.
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and viral content strategy.
• Experience creating short-form video content.
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of internet culture and social trends.
• Proficiency with social media management and editing tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Considered an asset (good to have):

• Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Canva.
• Experience managing influencer collaborations or creator partnerships.
• Graphic design or motion graphics experience.

Additional Information

• This is a Permanent Full-Time position with a Hybrid work structure.
• Some travel may be required including attending social events to promote Chit Chats Express.

Total Rewards and Compensation:

• Salary: Starting $50,000 per annum
• Employer paid Group Benefits (Health, Dental and Vision; 80% coverage). After 3 months.
• Annual Year-End Bonus .
• Two weeks paid vacation (negotiable)
• Birthday leave (Paid)
• A rich GRSP plan  eligibility after 3 months of employment
