Cencora seeks a bilingual reimbursement specialist for rare disease programs in Quebec to coordinate patient medication coverage, manage insurance submissions, and navigate public/private funding mechanisms. This remote role supports patient and provider services across Canada through the Innomar Strategies division.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate prescription drug coverage and reimbursement for patients with rare diseases
• Manage case submissions and documentation with insurance companies and funding programs
• Communicate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies to maximize reimbursement solutions
• Implement financial means testing to optimize patient medication coverage
• Report all adverse events to designated departments

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical, insurance, or healthcare reimbursement
• Demonstrated knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Fluent French and English (bilingual required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for sensitive healthcare interactions
• Proven ability to multi-task, organize priorities, and meet competing deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in team settings
