We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support WellnessLiving in Thornhill, ON. This hybrid role focuses on leading financial processes and integrating AI for efficiency. In this 13-month contract role, you will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. You will oversee the month-end close and support cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization. Your strong analytical and organizational skills will be vital in driving improvements while managing multi-currency transactions and providing insights into budgeting processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete month-end financial close process
- Lead AI adoption for improved finance operations
- Ensure accuracy in multi-currency accounting tasks
- Coordinate commission calculations for the sales department
- Support annual budgeting and reporting processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory
- CPA certification preferred
- At least five years of relevant experience in Canada
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel
- Strong leadership and analytical capabilities
