The Role:
- This is a Sales role for the Northern Alberta and Edmonton area where the opportunities for growth are limitless! You can expect to develop your sales and industry knowledge while growing your book of business with Vaycay Brew Co.
- Prospecting new customers in the Retail and On Premise spaces.
- Utilize Drinxoft CRM for tracking prospecting, penetration, planning, sales calls and sales number
- Penetrating current Vaycay Brew Co customers by adding new lines to the current account.
- Supporting at events (i.e.: concerts, festivals, bar/restaurant tastings, retail tastings, trade shows, etc.)
- Ensuring all merchandising tools and promotional materials are being improved across our sales channels
- Supporting all sales and marketing activations
- Attending, running, and participating in brand experience promotions
- Creating route to market plans for our clients (restaurants, bars, and retail stores)
- Building and maintaining relationships with all Vaycay Brew Co customers
- Maintaining accountability to a portfolio of customers and conducting in-person sales calls

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (Are you someone who...):
- Has a valid unrestricted driver's license and a reliable vehicle?
- Has knowledge about the brewing process, styles, and flavor profiles
- Is available to work a full time flexible schedule?
- Has a post-secondary education? (ideal but not mandatory)
- Has knowledge of the sales cycle can effectively navigate it's stages ?
- Is assertive and self-motivated, with excellent leadership skills?
- Takes direction and feedback, while also possessing strong problem-solving skills?
- Enjoys working independently, while being part of a fast-paced, team environment?
- Has outstanding time management skills, coupled with the ability to coordinate and prioritize?
- Has previous customer service, merchandising, hospitality industry and/or sales experience?
- Enjoys a fun, engaging and supportive work environment?
- Holds a valid Pro Serve certificate
- Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholders
- Has strong communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams
- Has excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same time
- Possesses solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports and deriving insights from data
- Is proactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule to be successful
- Is proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
