Position Overview
The Lead Sales Coordinator provides guidance and support to a small team of sales coordinators. Act as liaison between external clients and the company sales, design, production, and shipping teams. This position will report to the Inside Sales Manager. As a team, we strive to help drive sales to meet or exceed company goals and budgets by serving customers in a professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Lead Sales Coordinator should have a strong understanding of the products and services we offer and the ability to explain use cases, install methods and best practices.
- Develop and maintain rapport with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide product knowledge to customers and ensure a positive customer service experience.
- Provide quotes and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met.
- Respond to designer and production queries.
- Engage in monthly inventory process
- Managing special orders
- Attend industry-related events, trade shows, etc.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to determine customer requirements and ability to follow through with commitments every time.
- Ability to determine appropriate products or services to meet customer needs.
- Industry experience.
- Strong ability to guide and mentor inside sales team.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking ability.
- Professional level of written skills.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or certificate from a technical college or design school (Asset)
- Industry related experience.
- Experience using design software.
