We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a background in AML Operations or Financial Data Entry to join a large-scale, high-performing team at a leading financial institution in downtown Toronto. This role focuses on EFTR (Electronic Fund Transfer Reporting), ensuring critical financial data is accurately reviewed and reported in alignment with Canadian regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to expand their network within a major organization while receiving top-tier training in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and risk management.

Duration: 3-month contract starting ASAP (Potential for extension).

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Fixed shift).

Nature of Work: 95% Back-office processing; minimal telephone work.

Interview Process: 1-round virtual interview.

Impactful Work: Contribute to the safety and integrity of the Canadian financial system by ensuring accurate regulatory reporting.

Data Remediation: Conduct rapid, 15–20 minute reviews of data discrepancy alerts triggered by regulatory risk factors.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all Electronic Fund Transfer Reports (EFTR) are filed accurately and on time to meet strict Canadian regulatory standards.

Data Integrity: Compare system alerts against source documents and books of record to identify, locate, and correct data entry errors.

Liaise with internal partners via email or internal systems to track down missing information and ensure data completeness.

Risk Management: Actively identify and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities in accordance with enterprise frameworks.

SLA Management: Industry Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in AML operations, KYC (Know Your Customer), regulatory reporting, or payment transaction processing.

Financial Background: Previous experience within a corporate financial or banking environment (international experience is welcomed).

Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn complex internal banking applications quickly.

Detail Oriented: An uncompromising focus on accuracy when sorting, verifying, and entering sensitive customer/transaction data.

Specific experience with EFTR Regulatory Reporting in Canada.

Business writing experience or professional certifications in AML/Finance.

Secondary Education / High School Diploma is required.
