Overview:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation's Calgary office is actively hiring for an Intern, Land to join the Land Department within External Affairs. Reporting to the Manager, Land, this role provides hands-on experience supporting land operations, projects, data management, and process improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced land professionals.

The External Affairs Service Unit brings together Land, Communications and Government Relations to provide essential services to projects and to ongoing Pembina business. In addition to this group effectively mobilizes project support, while ensuring proper governance and controls are in place.

This is a 4-month contract position. The successful candidate must live within 100 km of Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Perform role-specific responsibilities supporting land operations, A&D, and capital projects, including scanning and filing support for land files, land data analysis and clean up, SharePoint site updates, stakeholder information updates, and supporting land agents with documentation. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term;
• Support day-to-day work and learning activities related to land operations, using tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems;
• Support Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;
• Demonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, a desire to learn and help others, and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email software. SAP knowledge is considered an asset;
• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;
• Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations. 

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
