Operations Administrator

TPD

Our client, a leading industrial organization, is seeking a Rail Administrator to provide administrative and data entry support for rail movement and logistics activities in Calgary, AB. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance and reporting requirements, and developing automated solutions to streamline manual processes, including Power Platform workflows.
Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Contract Duration: Long-term contract

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide administrative and data entry support for rail movement and logistics activities
  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate rail movement and logistics data in company systems
  • File, manage, and maintain rail-related documentation with proper version control
  • Respond to data and information requests from logistics and operations teams
  • Support compliance and reporting requirements related to rail operations
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows, including cloud and desktop flows, to reduce manual reporting
  • Create and support Power Apps solutions and workflow automation
  • Assist with process mapping, data governance, security, and system integration initiatives
  • Integrate Power Automate with Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and reporting efficiency

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Previous administrative or data entry experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numerical data, records, and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems is considered an asset
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage deadlines, and respond to data requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
