Behavioral Health Consultant in Calgary

Become a Family Counsellor and Behavioural Health Consultant in NW Calgary, providing integrated consultation-based services to patients and primary care teams. Utilize your expertise in therapy and health psychology for diverse populations. This role serves within the Primary Care Network, emphasizing collaboration with healthcare providers. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and delivering evidence-based psychosocial interventions. Your focus will include individual, couple, and family therapy, enhancing community health programs and providing vital consultation services. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver assessments and treatments to clients and families
• Act as liaison with other health programs and resources
• Collaborate with community health providers for continuous care
• Promote preventative health initiatives within the community
• Develop tailored behavioral change plans for patients Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a health-related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant psychotherapeutic experience
• Registration with an Alberta regulatory college
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access Leverage your clinical skills and community partnership abilities as a Family Counsellor and Behavioural Health Consultant.
