Supervisor - 24/7 Programs (Calgary)

The Role The Supervisor provides program level leadership within the 24/7 programs. The Supervisor oversees and supervises the day-to-day operational aspects of 24/7 programs and ensures motivation and performance are maintained in alignment with program priorities, the portfolio and organizational vision, values, and goals.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities Actively engage in the case management of each youth in the program ensuring compliance with CAC standards and that the needs of each client and family are prioritized and monitored on an ongoing basis.
Complete ongoing audits of client files to ensure compliance with CAC standards and case‑management priorities.
Promote a culture of engagement, high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement through leadership and modeling Trellis values.
Develop, supervise, and retain program staff to meet service delivery needs and maintain compliance with employment expectations.
Contribute to healthy team dynamics while fostering an environment conducive to integrated service delivery.
Act as an ambassador, representing Trellis purpose, vision, values, and desired outcomes in day‑to‑day work.
Develop and deliver client‑centered initiatives, programs, and activities that enhance community and Natural Support involvement.
Provide ongoing program orientation, training, and development of frontline staff.
Ensure frameworks and models such as Natural Supports, Trauma‑Informed Care, Circle of Courage, and Recovery‑Oriented Practice are incorporated into programming and case management practices.
Write or edit reportable incident reports, AWOLs, service plans, and progress reports.
Interview, supervise, schedule, and orient Practicum Students.
Provide support and insight to the Leadership Team to ensure service delivery implementation aligns with contract requirements, portfolio scope of practice, and organizational purposes.
Coach, engage, and model respectful and appropriate relationships, professional boundaries, and program expectations with clients and all team members.
Create a stable and consistent environment that supports ongoing learning.
Maintain property in livable conditions for clients.
Manage the monthly household budget.
Other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skill Expectations A degree or diploma in a Human Services field (e.g., Child & Youth Care, Social Work, Justice Studies). Equivalencies considered.
At least three (3) years of experience in the Human Services field working with youth and families.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy.
Strong relationship building skills and an understanding of working with vulnerable people with challenging behaviours.
Organized, self‑motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to continual professional and personal development.
Valid driver’s license, current Driver’s Abstract, and reliable vehicle with 2‑million‑dollar liability insurance.
Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification (required prior to commencement).
Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check.
