Record French (Quebec) conversations from home while supporting speech recognition evaluation and conversational AI development. Use natural speech and careful annotation skills.
This freelance contributor project involves flexible, task-based work of approximately two to four hours daily. You will provide spontaneous speech from approved real-life situations, complete conversational tasks, and annotate recordings. Advanced English helps you understand written instructions, while native-level French (Quebec) supports authentic speech data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record natural, spontaneous French speech following project guidelines
- Capture approved workplace or casual conversation situations
- Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks
- Annotate recordings according to provided instructions
- Submit required recording information and metadata
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in French (Quebec)
- Authentic pronunciation developed through everyday language use
- Advanced English for understanding written instructions
- Strong attention to annotation and metadata details
- Quiet space, microphone, reliable internet, and online platform access
