Clinical Educator Role for Nurses
Winnipeg Regional Health Authority
Shape the future of nursing in Manitoba as a Clinical Educator. This role is focused on training and empowering healthcare professionals in the Winnipeg Health Region. Ideal for those with extensive clinical experience, this position mandates four years of nursing experience and expertise in clinical education. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Nursing will have an advantage, along with a strong foundation in adult education methodologies. Engage with new staff and students through effective mentoring. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical education initiatives within the nursing team
- Provide direct mentorship and orientation to new nurses
- Tailor educational programs to meet diverse learner needs
- Promote evidence-based practices and patient safety
- Contribute to team meetings and collaborative health strategies
- Four years of recent nursing experience required
- Preferred Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Canadian certification in related clinical areas valued
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and presentation software
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
