Accounting Manager at Wolseley Canada

Take the helm as Accounting Manager with Wolseley Canada in Burlington, operating on a hybrid basis. Lead the finance team to achieve key operational metrics while ensuring timely financial close and control. As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee parts of the Business unit accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. Your role includes guiding a high-performing team, analyzing financial discrepancies, and working closely with Financial Reporting for accurate period-end results. You will promote process improvements, maintain internal controls, and mentor team members to foster growth and engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee business unit accounting functions and operational metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closes
- Review and process journal entries and adjustments
- Lead internal control and compliance initiatives
- Mentor team members for continuous improvement
- CPA designation preferred
- 5–8 years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and ERP systems
- Continuous improvement-minded leadership
