Bioinformatics Analyst for Genomics

Drive innovation in genomics with DNAstack as a Bioinformatics Analyst. This full-time, 12-month opportunity offers a blend of remote work flexibility and collaboration. Join our bioinformatics team to develop scalable pipelines for diverse omics datasets, working closely with external partners for impactful research. You will deliver enlightening bioinformatics solutions while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize cloud-ready genomic analysis workflows
- Collaborate with academia and industry on genomic datasets
- Validate tools and methods for high-quality analyses
- Liaise with customers to implement tailored bioinformatics solutions
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in genomics
- Master's degree in bioinformatics or similar
- 3+ years developing NGS pipelines
- Solid programming knowledge in Python
- Familiarity with workflow technologies like WDL
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
