Become an Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst with Tri-global Solutions Group, working remotely within Canada. Focus on enhancing data-driven decision-making for Alberta’s Ministry of Technology and Innovation. This role in data analytics is vital for the Digital Regulatory Assurance System project, where you will harness your Power BI skills to build compelling dashboards and data models.
You will engage with business units to define their reporting needs and leverage advanced analytics to ensure data accuracy and transparency throughout processes. Your contributions will directly impact environmental and natural resource regulations in Alberta. Use your analytical expertise to drive the modernization of regulatory processes in Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
- Design interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Maintain robust data models for enterprise-level reporting
- Optimize dashboards for performance and efficiency
- Work with stakeholders to gather KPIs and requirements
- Train users ensuring effective BI tool adoption
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science
- 5+ years in analytics and Power BI solutions
- Experience in data auditing and accuracy checks
- 4+ years of storytelling through data visualization
- Proficient in SQL for large data environments
