Position Summary

Y Media Group is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive to support revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and promote advertising and sponsorship opportunities across our media platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, preparing customized marketing proposals, and securing advertising, sponsorship, event, and promotional partnerships.

This role is ideal for a confident and professional individual with strong communication, sales, marketing, and relationship-building skills who can thrive in a fast-paced media environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Television, Radio, Print, Digital, Social Media, and Live Events.
  • Promote Y Media Group's advertising, sponsorship, branded-content, and integrated marketing solutions.
  • Generate qualified leads through research, networking, outreach, referrals, industry events, and direct prospecting.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and sales discussions.
  • Understand client objectives and develop customized multimedia advertising and sponsorship packages.
  • Prepare professional proposals, presentations, media plans, quotations, and client reports.
  • Negotiate advertising agreements, sponsorship packages, and long-term partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to strengthen relationships and identify renewal and upselling opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal sales, marketing, programming, editorial, production, design, digital, and event teams.
  • Coordinate the execution and delivery of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Track leads, client interactions, proposals, follow-ups, campaign activity, and sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate client records and reporting using CRM systems, Google Sheets, and other internal tools.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Support the development and positioning of new advertising products, sponsorship packages, and promotional initiatives.
  • Attend networking events, community programs, trade shows, client activations, and Y Media Group events.
  • Achieve assigned sales, revenue, meeting, and business-development targets.
  • Provide regular performance updates and revenue forecasts to management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sales, Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Preferred Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, advertising sales, media sales, sponsorship sales, client services, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and close business opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of advertising platforms, including television, radio, print, digital, social media, and event sponsorship.
  • Experience preparing proposals, presentations, media plans, and customized client solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and presentation software.
  • Experience using CRM, analytics, email-marketing, or performance-tracking platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Canva, or similar tools is an asset.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and Punjabi is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required for client meetings, events, and community outreach.

The Marketing & Business Development Executive will be expected to:

  • Deliver accurate proposals, reports, and campaign documentation.
  • Support the growth of Y Media Group's advertising, sponsorship, event, and partnership revenue.
