Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 CAD

Overview We are currently recruiting on behalf of a prominent, multi-site specialized manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations for its Canadian divisions. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a lean manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will drive accurate multi-entity reporting, lead budgeting cycles, and champion continuous process improvements across corporate locations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day general ledger operations, financial close processes, and operational accounting across multiple business units
Partner closely with executive leadership on annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with ASPE and IFRS standards
Evaluate, refine, and enforce internal controls, accounting workflows, and ERP data integrity
Conduct cost analysis, inventory tracking, and operational reporting to optimize manufacturing efficiencies
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies for year-end reviews and filings

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably within specialized manufacturing, industrial engineering, or technical production environments
Full professional fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is preferred
Strong technical expertise in ASPE and IFRS reporting frameworks, along with multi-entity accounting experience
Hands-on proficiency with enterprise ERP systems and advanced MS Excel analytical functions
Professional accounting designation (CPA) is strongly preferred
Ability and willingness to travel periodically

Compensation

$100,000 - $120,000 CAD annually, plus benefits package
