Our client is a multi-disciplined privately owned Canadian Construction company that specializes within the Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) construction sectors. As a wholly owned Canadian construction company and over sixty years of construction experience, they provide outstanding leadership in the construction industry for clients, designers, consultants, landlords, and trades. This company specializes in interior renovations ranging from two thousand square feet to fifty thousand square feet.
JOB OVERVIEW
The role of Office Manager is to assisting executives with construction administration duties by coordinating the efforts of the team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administrative support to managers and executive team
- Communicate with all levels within the organization
- Responsible for processing trade contracts & suppliersâ invoices
- Reception Duties: Answering Calls, Greeting agents, clients, and walk-ins
- Set up payment schedules & payment certificates relative to project contracts
- Liaison with the accountant to ensure our trades and vendors are paid and values are posted to project budgets
- Preparing, maintain and reconciling project contracts, change orders, purchase orders, RFIs and other documentation
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of Administration experience in construction
- College/University Degree or Diploma
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Project accounting softwareâs
- Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
