G-TAC is looking for outstanding individuals to join our instructor team to teach Small Business Accounting course for our employment training program.

Responsibilities :

Through planning, preparing and delivering quality class instruction and slides based on the curriculum, the instructor provides an enriching learning environment for students by using career-oriented teaching methods. The main teaching content should cover: 1) Business cash flow; 2) Financial statements and reporting; 3)Business taxes; 4) Budgeting; 5) Payroll; 6) Statutory remittances; 7) Small business banking.

The instructor helps students stay engaged and ensure that students are progressing effectively. The instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Training Manager.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor or Master degree in accounting, finance or business accounting;
• A minimum 3 years' experience in teaching and curriculum development in accounting at the university level;
• A minimum of 3 years' relevant professional experience or business background required;
• Write work experiences with accounting firms or controlling position in business is desirable
• Strong employment network of contacts with other professionals, organizations and employers;
• M ember in good standing of Canadian CPA designation is an asset;
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills ;
• Demonstrable ability to convey the conceptual and applied aspects of knowledge to a broad range of students;
• Committed to excellence in teaching and learning

Job Types : Part-time (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 8:00 pm- 9:30 pm EDT), online teaching via Zoom

Salary : $40.00 per hour
