Become a catalyst for family support in Kenora as a Family Resource Worker with FIREFLY. Lead community-centered programs focused on child development and early learning for families. FIREFLY is looking for a dedicated full-time Family Resource Worker for its EarlyON Child and Family Centre in Kenora. This role involves providing essential support for families with children ages 0-6 through inclusive programming and outreach efforts. Collaborate with community members to effectively foster child development and literacy while creating a welcoming space for all. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the environment
- Deliver programs focusing on parenting and child development
- Facilitate early literacy and learning activities
- Assess community needs and implement training programs
- Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent
- Registration with the relevant professional college
- Knowledge of diverse cultures and family development
- Experienced with children and families
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening
