VP of Liquidity & Market Risk Management

Lead liquidity and market risk oversight as the VP at our credit union. This pivotal role focuses on strategic direction, risk policies, and team guidance in high-stress environments. As VP, you will enhance risk frameworks, collaborate with treasury teams, and directly support the Chief Risk Officer. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying emerging market risks and ensuring compliance with robust risk policies. This position demands strong leadership and skills in risk modeling and analytics to navigate financial challenges. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment and performance management for risk team
• Assess liquidity risk monitoring policies for effectiveness
• Prepare risk reports and present findings to executives
• Validate financial assumptions against established risk limits
• Participate in drafting annual contingency plans Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline
• 10 years in senior risk management roles
• Five years managing capital and market risk analytics
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in risk modeling and analytics techniques Drive excellence in risk management and influence key financial decisions at our credit union.
