Vice President of Insurance and Risk Join Starlight as the Vice President of Insurance and Risk, steering the organization’s risk management and insurance strategies. This strategic role emphasizes cooperative leadership and operational effectiveness. In this pivotal role, you will report to the EVP, General Counsel and be responsible for Starlight's insurance portfolio across multiple geographies including Canada, the US, and the UK. You will provide strategic insights and guidance related to risk trends and claims activities while developing proactive risk mitigation and management frameworks. A robust understanding of cross‑departmental collaboration will enhance business continuity and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities Drive improvements in claims management and insurance administration
Develop risk management policies and governance practices
Communicate risk management training to stakeholders
Support crisis and business continuity initiatives
Oversee relationship management with external partners
Requirements At least 10 years in insurance or risk management roles
Robust operational mindset with strategic focus
Degree or equivalent; CRM or CIP designation preferred
Proven analytical and communication skills
Ability to influence across organizational levels
Elevate Starlight's risk management posture through effective leadership and cutting‑edge strategies.
