Associate Director Market Risk Controls Winnipeg

Drive market risk oversight at RBC as an Associate Director in Toronto. This critical role focuses on managing interactions between Trading and Banking Books, leveraging your risk management expertise to guide complex processes. As an integral member of the Market Risk Capital Controls team, you will impact the governance framework while collaborating with key stakeholders across the bank. Your responsibilities include coordinating controls, preparing capital impact estimates, and mentoring team members. You'll also provide insight and support in resolving complex issues affecting market risk measurements and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate controls related to Trading and Banking Book boundaries
- Prepare market risk capital estimates for instrument reassignments
- Escalate and resolve boundary impact issues
- Mentor team members to drive performance
- Analyze ad hoc requests for support
Requirements
- 5+ years in market/counterparty risk support
- Understanding of regulatory market risk requirements
- Knowledge of derivative pricing methodologies
- Robust stakeholder influence and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
