Program Coordinator - Navigating Upward Initiative Edmonton

Catholic Social Services is seeking a Program Coordinator dedicated to the Navigating Upward employment training initiative. This role consists of employment counseling, participant coaching, and case management duties focused on achieving sustainable employment for diverse individuals. This full time position will extend until March 31, 2028, potentially longer based on program success.
You will support participant recruitment, deliver training sessions, and track individual progress throughout the employment journey. A cooperative mindset is essential for contributing to high‑quality service delivery within the program.
Key Responsibilities Conduct participant recruitment and screening activities
Implement personalized progress plans aligned with employment goals
Provide coaching in résumé development and interview prep
Address barriers to employment through problem solving
Manage documentation and participant records in compliance
Requirements Diploma or degree in Social Work, Career Development or equivalent
Minimum 2 years in employment services or counselling roles
Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities
Comfortable working with diverse populations
Ability to foster an inclusive service workplace
