Human Resources Business Partner

En tant que Partenaire en ressources humaines (PRH), vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les responsables des ventes au détail et des opérations à travers le Québec afin d’élaborer et de mettre en œuvre des stratégies RH visant à stimuler la performance de l’entreprise, l’engagement des employés, le recrutement de talents, l’efficacité organisationnelle et la conformité. En tant que conseiller de confiance, vous accompagnerez les responsables dans tous les aspects du cycle de vie des employés, du recrutement et de l’intégration à la gestion de la performance, en passant par les relations avec les employés, le développement et la planification de la relève. Le candidat retenu jouera un rôle clé dans l’attraction et la fidélisation des meilleurs talents, tout en favorisant un environnement de travail inclusif, performant et positif.

Responsabilités

Partenariat stratégique en RH

  • Établir des relations solides avec les gérants de magasin, les responsables de district et les dirigeants de l’entreprise grâce à des réunions régulières et à un partenariat continu.
  • Fournir des conseils et un accompagnement en matière de relations avec les employés, de gestion de la performance, de développement des talents, de planification des effectifs et d’efficacité organisationnelle.
  • Soutenir les dirigeants dans la création d’équipes engagées, productives et inclusives.
  • Collaborer avec la direction pour identifier les risques liés aux ressources humaines et élaborer des solutions proactives.

Recrutement et acquisition de talents

  • Collaborer avec les responsables du recrutement pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de recrutement pour les postes dans le commerce de détail et les fonctions opérationnelles à travers le Québec.
  • Accompagner l’ensemble du processus de recrutement, notamment la planification des effectifs, la recherche de candidats, les entretiens, l’évaluation des candidats, la sélection et l’intégration.
  • Analyser les tendances du marché du travail local et recommander des approches de recrutement innovantes afin d’attirer les meilleurs talents dans un environnement concurrentiel du commerce de détail.
  • Développer des viviers de talents pour les postes critiques et difficiles à pourvoir.
  • Soutenir les initiatives de promotion de l’image de marque de l’employeur et les événements de recrutement afin de renforcer la présence de l’organisation sur le marché des talents québécois.
  • Suivre les indicateurs de recrutement et formuler des recommandations pour améliorer l’efficacité du recrutement, la qualité des embauches et les délais de pourvoi.

Relations avec les employés et gestion de la performance

  • Fournir un accompagnement et un soutien quotidiens aux responsables en matière de gestion de la performance, de développement des employés, de mesures correctives et de résolution des conflits.
  • Gérer et résoudre les questions complexes liées aux relations avec les employés grâce à des enquêtes approfondies, objectives et conformes à la législation.
  • Soutenir les responsables dans la gestion des présences, des demandes d’aménagements, des congés et des préoccupations liées au milieu de travail.
  • Promouvoir des relations positives avec les employés et contribuer à une culture d’entreprise respectueuse.

Développement des talents et planification de la relève

  • Identifier les besoins en formation et en développement au sein des différentes unités opérationnelles.
  • Collaborer avec les dirigeants pour élaborer des plans de développement et des stratégies de relève pour les postes clés.
  • Soutenir la mise en œuvre et l’évaluation des programmes de formation afin de garantir la réalisation des objectifs de l’entreprise.
  • Accompagner les dirigeants sur les meilleures pratiques en matière de développement de carrière et de gestion des talents.

Programmes RH, conformité et analyse

  • Contribuer à l’élaboration, à la mise en œuvre et à l’amélioration continue des programmes, politiques, procédures et initiatives RH.
  • Maintenir une connaissance approfondie de la législation québécoise en matière d’emploi, notamment la Loi sur les normes du travail, les obligations en matière de droits de la personne, les enquêtes en milieu de travail et les autres exigences liées à l’emploi.
  • Veiller au respect de la législation provinciale et fédérale en matière d’emploi tout en minimisant les risques pour l’organisation.
  • Analyser les indicateurs et les tendances RH afin d’identifier les opportunités et de soutenir la prise de décision opérationnelle.
  • Fournir des interprétations et des conseils concernant les politiques de l’entreprise et les pratiques d’emploi.

Exigences

  • 3+ ans d’expérience progressive en RH dans un poste de partenaire RH, de généraliste RH ou un rôle similaire, au service de plusieurs unités opérationnelles.
  • Au moins 1 an d’expérience dans la gestion de dossiers complexes liés aux relations avec les employés et aux enquêtes en milieu de travail.
  • Expérience dans le soutien aux initiatives de recrutement et d’acquisition de talents, y compris le cycle complet de recrutement.
  • Solide connaissance de la législation québécoise en matière d’emploi et des meilleures pratiques RH.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, en accompagnement et en établissement de relations.
  • Solides capacités d’analyse, de réflexion critique et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Capacité avérée à influencer et à collaborer avec les parties prenantes à tous les niveaux.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Capacité à concilier les besoins de l’entreprise et l’expérience des employés tout en conservant l’objectivité et le professionnalisme.
  • Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est requis pour soutenir les employés, les dirigeants et les opérations commerciales à travers le Canada.

Qualifications souhaitées

  • Expérience en RH dans le secteur de la vente au détail/multi sites.
  • Expérience dans le soutien à recrutement à fort volume.
  • Postsecondaire en ressources humaines, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Le titre de CHRP/CRHA est considéré comme un atout.

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will partner with leaders across Québec to develop and execute people strategies that drive business performance, employee engagement, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, and compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support leaders in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through performance management, employee relations, development, and succession planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting and retaining top talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performing, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Build strong relationships across the business through regular meetings and ongoing partnership.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support leaders in creating engaged, productive, and inclusive teams.
  • Partner with leadership to identify people-related risks and develop proactive solutions.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with hiring managers to execute recruitment strategies for Québec retail and operational positions. Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessment, selection, and onboarding.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment events to enhance market presence in Québec.
  • Analyze local market trends and monitor recruitment metrics to improve hiring effectiveness, quality of hire, and time-to-fill.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Provide coaching support to managers regarding performance management, employee development, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters through thorough, objective, and legally compliant investigations.
  • Support leaders in managing attendance, accommodation requests, leaves of absence, and workplace concerns.
  • Promote positive employee relations and contribute to a respectful workplace culture.

Development & Succession Planning

  • Identify training and development needs across business units.
  • Partner with leaders on career development, talent management best practices, succession strategies, and development plans for key roles.
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of training programs to ensure business objectives are achieved.

HR Programs, Compliance & Analytics

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Québec employment legislation, including the Act Respecting Labour Standards (Loi sur les normes du travail) , human rights obligations, workplace investigations, and other employment-related requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal employment legislation while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities and support business decision-making.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance regarding company policies and employment practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years progressive HR experience supporting multiple business units; 1+ years managing complex employee relations and investigations.
  • Experience supporting full-cycle and high-volume recruitment initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Québec employment legislation. Bilingualism (French/English) is required to support Canadian operations.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and balance business needs with employee experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail or multi-site HR experience.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CHRP/CRHA designation.
