Human Resources Supervisor

RÉSUMÉ
Sous la responsabilité du président et directeur des opérations, le/la superviseur(e) des ressources humaines est chargé de contribuer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre efficace de l'ensemble des politiques et programmes en matière de ressources humaines. Ce poste requiert une personne impliquée, capable de participer activement à l'exécution des tâches. Le titulaire supervise une équipe de deux collaborateurs et est également chargé d'assurer la bonne gestion de la paie, des assurances et des retraites.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS
1) Élaborer et gérer des projets, des programmes et des tâches liés aux ressources humaines, notamment :
- Recrutement, intégration et départs des employés
- Demandes et analyses en matière de rémunération (analyse des postes, évaluation des fonctions, analyse comparative des salaires, programme de primes, équité salariale et terminaisons)
- Conformité et droit du travail (normes du travail dans plusieurs provinces, politiques d’entreprise, santé et sécurité, conformité juridique, soutien aux audits)
- Gestion de la performance (évaluations probatoires, évaluations de rendement, plans d'amélioration de la performance)
- Conseil et soutien RH aux superviseurs et à la direction
- Relations avec les employés (résolution des conflits, enquêtes, engagement, reconnaissance des employés)
- Formation et développement, y compris la coordination et/ou l'animation de sessions de formation, ainsi que la planification des effectifs et de la relève
- Budgétisation (recrutement, formation, etc.)
- Communication
- Amélioration continue des programmes, processus et initiatives RH.
- Toute autre tâche connexe
2) Superviser et veiller à une bonne maîtrise des éléments suivants (et assurer la relève en cas de besoin) :
- L'ensemble des processus et des systèmes liés à la paie, y compris la gestion des dossiers des employés, l'administration des congés, le traitement de la paie ainsi que les ajustements et les rapports requis.
- La gestion quotidienne de nos programmes d'assurance collective multi-employeurs et leurs renouvellements/négociations annuels avec les courtiers et les assureurs
- La gestion quotidienne de nos programmes de retraite (RPDB et REER)
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES
- Diplôme universitaire en ressources humaines, en relations industrielles ou dans un domaine connexe
- Le titre de l'ACHRU est un atout
- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le domaine des ressources humaines
- Solide connaissance de la législation en matière de R.H. et des normes d'emploi
- Bilingue (français et anglais)
- Maîtrise approfondie de la suite Microsoft 365
- La connaissance du logiciel de paie Employeur D est un atout

SUMMARY
Reporting to the President and Chief Operating Officer, the Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for contributing to the development and effective administration of all human resources policies and programs. This role requires a hands-on contributor who is actively involved in carrying out tasks. The incumbent oversees a team of two employees and is also responsible for ensuring the proper management of payroll, insurance and pension.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
1) Develop and manage human resources projects, programs & tasks such as:
- Employee recruitment, onboarding and terminations
- Compensation requests/analysis (job analysis, job evaluation, salary benchmark, bonus program, pay equity and terminations)
- Compliance and employment law (labour standards for multiple provinces, company policies, health & safety, legal compliance, audit support)
- Performance management (probationary evaluations, performance reviews, performance improvement plans)
- HR advising/support for supervisors/management
- Employee relations (conflict resolution, investigations, engagement, employee recognition)
- Training and development, including coordinating and/or giving training sessions & workforce/succession planning
- Budgeting (recruitment, training, etc.)
- Communications
- Continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and initiatives.
- Any other related tasks
2) Supervise and ensure a thorough understanding of the following (& act as back-up for):
- All payroll processes and systems, including managing employee records, vacation administration, payroll processing and any required adjustments and reporting.
- Daily administration of our multi-employer group insurance programs and their annual renewal/negotiations with brokers/insurers
- Daily administration of our retirement plan programs (DPSP and RRSP)
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- University degree in human resources, industrial relations, or a related field
- CRHA designation an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in human resources
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and employment standards
- Bilingual in French and English
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
- Knowledge of the Employeur D payroll software, an asset
