Lead Executive Director for Youth Sailing
Sail and Life Training Society (SALTS)
The Sail and Life Training Society (SALTS) in Victoria, BC seeks an Executive Director. Drive mission-focused sail training and character-building initiatives for youth. SALTS is searching for a dynamic chief executive leader who champions their mission of shaping young lives through unique sailing experiences. The Executive Director is accountable for the organization’s strategic direction and operational excellence while nurturing a values-based culture. You will serve as a key public representative, enhancing trust and credibility within the wider community and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide SALTS' overall leadership and vision
- Cultivate a values-driven culture among staff and volunteers
- Act as the main ambassador and spokesperson
- Strengthen community credibility and long-term viability
- Align organizational resources for maximum impact
- 7-10 years of leadership within not-for-profit
- Experience in youth ministry is an advantage
- Able to sign SALTS Statement of Faith and Ethics
- Knowledge of sailing is a plus
- MBA or equivalent preferred
