Executive Vice President and General Manager

Become the Executive Vice President and General Manager for Victoria Shipyards, guiding strategic direction and operational success within a fully on-site role. Lead complex ship projects for both government and commercial sectors. As the top executive at Victoria Shipyards, you will report to the Executive Vice President and steer a large, multidisciplinary team. Your role encompasses strategic leadership, financial accountability, and building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. A commitment to safety and environmental stewardship is paramount, alongside operational innovation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strategic planning for the shipyard
- Supervise shipyard operations for quality and safety
- Direct financial oversight, including capital planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders across industries
- Cultivate workforce development and talent growth
- Engineering or Business degree required
- Minimum 15 years in leadership within relevant industries
- Proven record in managing large-scale financial and operational strategies
- Familiarity with government and defense sectors
- Skills in risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement
