Senior Financial Analyst at Sofina Foods

Sofina Foods is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Mississauga and North York facilities. Ensure operational efficiency through detailed analysis and reporting that drives decision-making. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a critical role in analyzing operational metrics and enhancing financial reporting accuracy. Your analytical competencies will support Plant Management in implementing strategic improvements and maintaining financial integrity. A key focus is on inventory management and month-end close processes to achieve lead-edge financial support. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operational analysis reports including yields and labour efficiency
- Oversee month-end inventory roll-up and variance reconciliation
- Maintain accuracy and communication of financial performance reports
- Identify improvement opportunities for plant reporting
- Facilitate audits and physical inventory counts as necessary
- Pursuing a CPA designation
- 4-5 years’ experience in manufacturing finance
- Required diploma/degree in accounting or finance
- Advanced Excel capability and ERP knowledge
- Food industry experience preferred
