Legal Counsel in Financial Regulations

Bring your legal expertise to Monex Canada as a Legal Counsel, focusing on financial regulations and global projects. Support contract negotiations and compliance to drive projects forward. In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic team under the Global General Counsel. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts related to foreign exchange and payment services, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and advising on corporate governance. Your experience in corporate law will contribute to Monex’s overall legal integrity in the financial sector. Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and finalize service contracts
• Assess compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts
• Advise on matters of corporate governance
• Develop templates for legal documents to enhance efficiency Requirements:
• Accredited law degree with Canadian authorization
• Experience in financial compliance and corporate law
• Strong judgment and organizational capabilities
• Excellent spoken and written English communication
• Background in private practice or regulatory compliance Contribute your legal skills to ensure Monex Canada's success in maintaining financial governance and compliance.
