Claims Counsel for Financial Lines at Zurich

As a Financial Lines Claims Counsel, you will report to the AVP Financial Lines Claims Manager. You'll utilize your legal expertise while handling claims related to multiple financial lines and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations. Collaborating with customers and brokers, you will manage litigated files and provide insights to assist business units.

Key Responsibilities: • Review and analyze claim documents for coverage and liability • Draft position correspondence for stakeholders involved • Build and maintain relationships with customers and brokers • Ensure compliance with Zurich Best Practices • Attend hearings and participate in mediation sessions

Requirements: • Juris Doctor with 5+ years of legal experience • Must obtain required adjuster license(s) • Experience in insurance claims management • Strong negotiation and customer service skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
